On Thursday, I'll be speaking about Sports Photography during the annual ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers) conference at the USC School of Journalism in Columbia.
Most college and pro sporting events, and even some high school events, place shooters into the same areas, which makes it difficult to get something different than the photographers beside you. My talk will focus on how to see things differently and use on-site camera tools/accessories that make your work stand out among the other photographers.
I'll be sharing 25+ years of sports photography experience. I'll also be sharing ideas about where inspiration comes from to be creative, how to price your sports coverage, workflow at games and copyright.
